Serum levels of TSH (logarithmic scale) and free T4 in a large series of patients with central hypothyroidism investigated at Ospedale Maggiore Policlinico, Milan, Italy. Each blue circle represents one patient, and the area between the dashed lines represents the normal range of TSH (mU/l) and free T4 (pmol/l) in the serum.
