Spanish Syllabus Mrs. Betancourt room A 307 Bienvenidos! I am lucky to have you in my class this year and I am excited to get started. This year we will learn Spanish through a focus on language and culture and a strong emphasis on listening, reading, writing, and speaking. Email: betancna@orange.k12.nj.us WHAT WILL I DO TO GET THERE? Class will be conducted 90% in Spanish. In order to learn to communicate, you must listen, read, write and speak in Spanish as much as possible. ‣  The goal is to move forward in our proficiency, so if you are absent, it is your responsibility to check the absent folder, our class site, ask a friend, and then Sra. Betancourt what you missed, and make it up as soon as possible. ‣  We will have a supportive and positive learning environment where everyone helps each other to learn and grow. ESPANOL LEARNING TARGETS INTERPRETIVE - I can recognize some familiar words & phrases when I listen & read in Spanish. INTERPERSONAL - I can ask & answer questions on very familiar topics using memorized/practiced words & phrases in Spanish. PRESENTATIONAL - I can write lists and present information about myself and familiar topics using memorized/practiced words & phrases.
