www.kpedu.fi THE AIM OF THE PROJECT Funding: ESF and The Finnish National Board of Education 254 000 EUR Activate young people to vocational studies Reduce the number of students who are in danger to interrupt their vocational studies. Create alternative ways to do general studies Practice work-based learning in rural institutes and vocational institutes.  The Vocational Institution of Turku is our partner institute during My Path –project  11.1.2019

SUPPORT OF SPECIAL NEEDS TEACHER www.kpedu.fi help to find on-the-job learning places for students to work as the contact person between employers and professional teachers to support students during their on-the-job learning period 11.1.2019

SUPPORT OF EMPLOYMENT CONSULTANT / COACH www.kpedu.fi to help students with special needs to apply to vocational studies to help teachers to find on-the-job learning places for students also to keep contact with those employers to support students during their on-the-job learning period (wake-ups, transports, support in authority contacts) close co-operation between network operators (teachers, social workers, authorities) 11.1.2019

INVOLVED IN THE PROJECT www.kpedu.fi 6 Institutes ( Kokkola, Kälviä, Kannus, Kaustinen, Perho) 13 Education sectors: Machinery and Metal Technology, Vehicles and Transportation, Construction Technology, Wood Industry, Surface Treatment,Textiles and Clothing, Catering Field, Hotel and Restaurant Field, Agriculture, Horse Economics, Youth and Leisure Counsellor, Communication and Visual Arts, Commerse and Administration 42 students (14.5.10) 8 has graduated, 4 will be graduated during few weeks 5 has interrupted the project and the school (reasons: work, health reasons, moved to another schooling or town, etc.) 11.1.2019
