We will have a small Halloween Treat Exchange on October 30th. If you would like to send something for the class, we have 21 students. Please make sure it’s individually wrapped items so we can pass them out. Thanks!  Students can wear a Halloween or Fall type shirt on Halloween for $1. All proceeds will benefit 2nd Grade! Fall Fest is Wednesday from 12-2. Students will be off the following day. We will not begin our next Domain until Greek Day is over. Greek Day will be November 5th from 9-12. Don’t forget to send in your $6.00 and permission slip. We are finishing up our Cam Jansen book this week and will take the ARP test for a comprehension grade. Encourage your child to pay attention and follow along in class.

Study Tips ELA Study Guides: Math Study Guides: Test Schedule: Tuesday Domain: We will begin Domain 5 this week. We will work on lessons 1-3. Spelling Study Guide : Lessons 6-10 Writing: We are working on Opinion Writings. Students need to focus on neat handwriting with spaces in between. Language: We will begin working on collective nouns. We will test on this next week. Examples of collective nouns are: family, board, choir, flock, herd, pod, swarm, etc. Comprehension: We are finishing our chapter book study this week on Cam Jansen and the Haunted House. We will take the ARP test for a grade when we are done. Math Study Guides: Sprint: Sprint 10 will be this week. We will test this on Friday. Time your child for 4 minutes each night. Computation: Students are still working on 2-digit addition and subtraction problems. Eureka Math: The homework this week is a review for the test on Friday. A key will be attached.
