Grandeur of creation Psalms 8:3-4 - When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon & the stars, which You have ordained; 4 What is man that You take thought of him, & the son of man that You care for him?
Glory of man Psalms 8:5-8 - Yet You have made him a little lower than God [elohim, mighty ones], & You crown him with glory & majesty! 6 You make him to rule over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet, 7 all sheep & oxen, & also the beasts of the field, 8 the birds of the heavens & the fish of the sea, whatever passes through the paths of the seas.
Grandeur of creation, Glory of man Why did God give man such an important role in his creation? To test his faithfulness (Gen 2-3) Alone, no power over death (Heb 2:6-9, 14-15) With Jesus, power over death (John 5:25-29)
