With urging of Roosevelt and advisors, Congress quickly passes many New Deal laws: Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC): provided jobs building roads, trails, parks, planting trees, and control flooding Popular in GA with work on Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield and many other projects
