Do you want to attend UGA? There will be an information session on Oct 2nd at 11:00 in the Media Center for any 11th and 12th graders!  Interested students must sign up in the counseling office no later than Oct 1st.

Auburn University’s Department of Theatre’s upcoming Open house and Scholarship Audition Day Due to Auburn’s “priority admission" application deadline of November 1 and its AUSOM Scholarship consideration deadline of December 1, Auburn University Theatre will now hold its annual on site scholarship/music theatre program admission auditions on Saturday, October 27th, 2018. This is a great opportunity for high school seniors  to tour our facility, meet with theatre faculty and students, and audition for theatre scholarships and admission to our music theatre degree program. Profile in Courage Essay Contest The contest is open to United States high school students in grades nine through twelve attending public, private, parochial, or home schools  A top prize of $10,000 The Profile in Courage Essay Contest is open for submissions. Robertson Scholars Program For high-achieving students applying to Duke and/or UNC Up to $140,000 for 4 years of study at either institution Deadline to apply is November 15th Check website for more details http://robertsonscholars.org/

National College Match Through the National College Match, high achieving low-income students can receive guaranteed full 4-year scholarships to 40 of the nation’s best colleges, including Stanford, Yale, MIT, Amherst, and Duke. Students should see Mrs. Watts for a referral by Sept 27th.

See Ms. Watts in the counseling office to be nominated. From now until September 27, Sallie Mae is accepting nominations for the Bridging the Dream Scholarship. This year, they will be awarding a new group of inspiring high school students with $25,000 each. Do you know a high school junior or senior ·     who works hard and inspires others; ·     has an interesting story to tell; and ·     is gifted or skilled in a way you think is outstanding?   See Ms. Watts in the counseling office to be nominated.
