The Road To Balancing A Budget

What is Junior Achievement? JA is an adapted curriculum that all 8th graders in the district will participate in. The program is an introduction to economics focusing on the part it plays in your daily life. The goal of the entire unit is to introduce you to personal financial planning and career exploration.

Units of Focus Unit One: Income Unit Two: Savings, Investing, Risk Unit Three: Debit & Credit Unit Four: Budget + Unit Five: Simulation/Field Trip Unit Six: After the Visit

JA In The Classroom Each of you will be given a workbook where all of the work will be done. Occasional work habits scores will be given for work done in class and at home. If there is no work to finish at home you may keep your JA books in the classroom
