Important messages to pass Our priority target for this year negotiation is to reduce the time-to-grant Please respect the deadlines very carefully It is recommended in particular to constitute a negotiation team that may always reply in the shortest time to the Commission The Commission Project Officer in charge of negotiations has a back-up who is capable of interacting with the Coordinator in case of absence of the PO in charge Failure to respect deadlines may lead to closing negotiations and to opening negotiations with the first project in the reserve list Take profit of today’s meeting to ask for clarifications The Commission services will help you during the process National Contact Points are as well available to help you
Timetable for Negotiation The negotiation mandate is the basis of negotiations Deadlines indicated in negotiation mandate: 16 May 2012: all participants registered through the Unique Registration Facility and a complete set of supporting documents – also for financial viability check - submitted 23 May 2012: first version of Description of Work (DoW, also called Annex 1) and draft Grant Preparation Forms (GPFs) submitted 13 July 2012: end of negotiations and signed GPFs received
