Science Sage Science test not built on last years subjects. Learned new material on new topics Everyone should show growth

Previous sage scores What does my score mean? Scores 4 highly proficient 3 proficient 2 approaching proficient 1 below proficient

Previous sage scores Scale scores 4 Greater than 860 3 840-860 2 820-840 1 Less than 820

Previous sage scores Focus on growth What does growth mean? Growth not always seen from a higher proficiency score Start at 700, new score at 750, Still a 1 but shows a lot of growth

How do we get growth Growth comes from doing our best Follow the 3 steps of taking a test Read the question Read it again Make a statement (check your answer)

How do we get growth The first one done is not usually the student with the best score TAKE YOUR TIME

Testing expectations Silent test room Room 103 Come in Seating chart is on the board take seat quietly. Out of seat you will be marked tardy

Testing expectations No talking ready for instructions. Do not bring anything with you except a pencil and 1 reading book, put everything else in your lockers. Leave your phone in your locker No drinks or bathroom breaks take care of it before you come to class.

Testing expectations If you are late to class and the door is closed you will not be allowed into class you will need to go to room 112 (the Home Ec Room)

Testing expectations You will be given a sheet of scratch paper and a testing ticket. The test ticket has your ID on it. You will turn in your Test ID and scratch paper at the end of class and you will get it back the next day of the test.

Testing expectations If you need something raise your hand and I will help you I cannot answer any questions about the test
