Creating Community Support for Your HPE Program Health and PE Promotion Equipment check-out for the weekend Incorporate curriculum that is family friendly: disc golf, sledding, snowshoeing, biking Family fitness/wellness nights National PE week Take Your Parent to PE/ Health Week Recruit parent volunteers to help with Fuel Up to Play 60, RC, JDRF, All School Walks HPE staff presentions at local events and school board meetings Kids present at school board meetings, rotary, foundation events Incorporate academic language from Common Core math, science, language arts, social studies concepts within HPE. It’s EASY. Classroom teachers will respect and acknowledge your role.
