Trait A single characteristic of something that helps to define it.
Learned Acquired through experience.
Inherited Passed from parent to offspring during reproduction
Instinct Behavior that you were born with and did not have to learn.

Acquired Physical Trait A trait that one is not born with but that is gained due to lifestyle or environment.

Learned Behavior Animal behavior that develops from observation or instruction.
Offspring The child or offshoot from a parent.
Generation All of the organisms within a population that are born and live at about the same time.
