Declaration of Conformity ESS, pending signature, Target date 12 October Action list with clear ownership Declaration of Conformity: Toshiba and CPI (klystrons) , signed Stub lifts, CROME detectors etc.

Declaration of Conformity - future ESS is hiring a CE marking Specialist to coordinate this work. Resource to work full time with this task. Accelerator is having a 50% FTE to support their Work package managers and IKC. ESS is considering procuring a tool. Safe Expert or equivalent. Some IKC claim CE requires 3rd party assessment. Question: Are there any special rules in France?

Conclusion Evolvement of ESS Management System. ESS Excellence Team meetings drives and monitors the progress. Tailoring Internal needs and external expectations. Goal is to have a clear structure in Confluence. CE marking and Declarations of Conformity approach is maturing and is now exercised across the organisation. Several Work Packages ongoing: Accelerator NSS General awareness and knowledge is improving.
