Short term research mobility projects Seed funding for researchers to facilitate collaboration 100 000 SEK/ 146 000 ZAR Co-funded by Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) Main aim is to initiate or further develop collaboration between Sweden and South Africa Deadline first call – September 18 2018 Second call: May 10 – September 18 2019

Results call 2018 35 proposals 28 proposals eligible Main reason for ineligibility – including SE universities not in the project in the first call Not including 2 universities from each country All 30 partner universities in SASUF involved in applications 220 researchers from both countries involved in a proposal
