Why “Central-Local government in the Member States of EU in the field of e-Government”? Because E-Gov is organised through functional processes Because of orizontal and vertical integration among levels of Government Because we should start thinking of pan-European services

Conceptual framework: main assumptions Avoiding the “technological neo-determinism” Recognizing the role of ICT as driver/catalyser/enabler of the organizational change Bidirectional influence between Public Administration modernization efforts and ICT developments Da tradurre, importante riferimento concettuale

Conceptual framework: reference fields Central-Local government relations in the Member States of EU in the field of e-Government eEurope E-Government Central-Local Government in EU Off-line coordination among levels of Government ? ICT impacts on Gov Coordination & Collaboration We can call them “reference disciplines”, major issues which inform the definition of research questions. The last issue comes from the bi-directional inflence between PA and ICT. IN the questionnaire and interview we will tru to assess also whether or not the ICT did modify the coordination among levels of gov.
