Thank you for your donations! The school provides less than $10 per student to last a whole year. With the funds provided, we purchase paint, construction paper, yarn, pipe cleaners, etc. Thank you for helping to provide the other necessities.

California State Common Core Standards Zoo Phonics “Letter Sound of the Week” -Science and handwriting American Symbols and Holidays Counting and Number Cardinality Keys to Success Technology Physical Education Curriculum California State Common Core Standards Zoo Phonics- Total Physical Response to help students remember sound, movement, letter formation. Letter-sound of the week- Science paper about apples, acorns, bats, camels, etc. Scholastic news science topics. Social Science- American symbols and holidays as they come up throughout the year. Math- what a number is worth in many different ways (5=3+2 or 2+3 or 4+1 or 0+5) and how to write it Keys to Success- moral intelligence building to help students grow to be good citizens Technology- Raz Kids book app. on iPad, Google Docs typing on Chromebooks PE- Tuesdays and sometimes Fridays, dress appropriately and bring water

Homework Begins October Weekly 3 Spelling Words Letter Sound Work Math Practice Reading Log Monthly Communication Enhancing Experience Building Presentation Skills Proof-read all homework before you turn in. Must sign front and back of Reading Log and return all 4 books. Memorise all 3 words each week. Total of 55 words to be memorized by the end of the year. Monthy homework to be done as a family. Let child do project, imperfections are ok!!! Practice presentation speech with student the night before it’s due.
