IRRInet-M IRRInet-ACE Product Introduction Presented By: AK Updated: Dec 2, 2007

Upon completion of this presentation, you should be able to: Understand all HW options Understand all Configuration options Understand Migration of new HW into legacy systems Understand all Models and Options Understand all about on-site programming tool (Pocket-PC)

IRRInet-M - General View IRRInet-M AC 24VAC Power In (AC) Commonality Inputs/Outputs - 12 Outputs, 4 DI on the Basic board - 12 Outputs, 4 DI on the Expansion board Communication Ports: - RS232/485 - RS232 - Radio/Line Power: - 12V DC in - 5, 7.5, 9.5, 12V DC (2Amp) Power out for portable radio 20 LED for Status display 1 Push button (various functions) 12VDC Power In Relay outputs for Solenoids: 24V AC or, External power connection IRRInet-M DC 12VDC Power In DC Latch Solenoids activated by 3300 µF 35 VDC capacitor

IRRInet-M – Master/Slave configuration (1) IRRInet-M supports 3 modes of operations RTU (loaded with IRRI 7.0 Master) Performing all irrigation functions (IRRIV Capabilities) Reporting to the ICC, Via the MDLC Cloud Stand Alone (loaded with IRRI 7.0 Master) Performing all irrigation functions as a stand-alone unit when the system is installed without an ICC Remote I/O (loaded with IRRI 7.0 Slave) Serving as a Distributed I/O for another unit (the Master) Please note! In the PAST whenever using SCORPIO or IRRIcom, it was ALWAYS as a Remote I/O to a Master IRRInet This is NOT a MUST anymore! Use the Slave option only when needed!!

IRRInet-M – Master/Slave configuration (2) MDLC ICC FIU Master Slave Loaded with IRRIV 7.0 Slave Master Master Loaded with IRRIV 7.0 Master Slave

Q: I need to add a new device to a network that already has Scorpio(s) or IRRIcom(s). What do I do? A: Below… FIU MDLC ICC Please note! Load IRRIV Master for direct connection to ICC or, Load IRRIV Slave with PRIS protocol to report to the legacy IRRInet-XL/XM IRRInet XL/XM IRRIcom Scorpio IRRInet-M

Q: When should I use IRRInet-M and when should I use IRRInet-ACE Q: When should I use IRRInet-M and when should I use IRRInet-ACE? A: Below… MDLC ? FIU IRRInet-ACE ICC IRRInet-M This release will deliver the following for the IRRInet-ACE IRRIV 7.X (Master) running on the IRRInet-ACE Usage of current released I/O Modules Support on-site programming, using Pocket PC machine (ARM based) It takes a whole System Planner to explain all considerations: but…) Communication Media larger variety on IRRInet-ACE Line needed? only on IRRInet-M Number of needed Ports (only 3 on IRRInet-M, 5 on IRRInet-ACE I/O specification DC solenoids, only on IRRInet-M Analog I/O only on IRRInet-ACE I/O count Up to 24 Outputs and 8 inputs on IRRInet-M, up to 8 Modules on IRRInet-ACE RUNGS needed? Only on IRRInet-ACE
