Using Structure to enhance storytelling Story Map Using Structure to enhance storytelling

While writers follow a basic story map Format to tell their respective stories, each one uses their own voice to tell it in different ways. Kurt Vonnegut and Henry Slesar both wrote stories about the dangers of conformity and the need for individuality… But told them in different ways.

While each used the same theme and structure, Vonnegut and Slesar told very different stories through “Harrison Bergeron” and “Examination Day.” How do these differences affect their respective stories? Be sure to: Explain the technique Vonnegut and Slesar used Describe where the technique occurred on the story map and how it affected the story Use examples from the text that illustrate your argument
