Even on apps like Snapchat where photos disappear in seconds, someone takes a screen capture or download it through a third-party app and can keep it forever. Things can also be found on your phone after you’ve deleted it. Even comments and likes show up on newsfeeds where others can see. How do you want to be known?” Lisa Horn, The Publicity Gal Post or send – on social media or in private text messages. Branding – marketing term – creating a name, symbol or design that identifies and differentiates a product from other products. An effective brand strategy gives you an edge in competitive markets. As a person, your brand can effect your job prospects, scholarships, what colleges you get into and much more. Your lifetime brand is already being developed. What you do not only impacts you today, but it impacts your future. And it impacts the reputation of your organization in your community. How do you want to be known? How did your Google searches go?

As you get older and more involved in the community or a career, there are likely to be more results. As you get older, you will also want to search your name with other cities where you have lived, worked or gone to school. And ladies don’t forget about that maiden name once you are married.

Check out the links on the worksheet to help you clean up your posts.
