In Summary Building a Whole-School Approach to Mathematics MTSonline is designed to support a whole-school approach to planning, teaching, assessing A whole-school approach gives students the best chance of success in mathematics A whole-school approach is predicated on having a common planning framework for all teachers The Programme of Study Planners are an easy to use tool for enabling a common planning approach Start with a Common Planning Framework We have provided a CPF for the UK National Curriculum (2014), the SCO Numeracy and Mathematics Curriculum and the NI Mathematics and Numeracy Curriculum. The CPF consists of 8 Programme of Study Planners (i.e. one for each year level) The 8 Planners seamlessly link (programme) the content (study) across year levels A Common Assessment Program A whole-school approach is supported at MTSonline by a common assessment program A common assessment program sets common standards for all teachers and students MTSonline common assessments are provided for each of the 8 Year levels
