Concept of sound and vision: teaser ‘Good afternoon ladies and Gentlemen’ This is my sound and vision project. The Eurovision song contest History. Begins with a ticking clock (may include theme sample in background) as time goes back to 1956 showing footage of the very first contest. I’ll narrate over the top stating the year and winning country etc. and Nill Poi! It may have begun all the way back in Switzerland 1956. However it was until the following year (1957) when the UK entered for the first time and have been ever since. Some winners which represented the United Kingdom: Lulu, Cliff Richard, Buck Fizz. The late SIR Terry Wogan was our famillar uk host from (1980-2008) An act you may recognise is ABBA although they didn’t represent the UK they did win here in Birmingham in 1974.

Yesterday & Today The Uk last hosted in 1998 Since the 2000 the likes of Sweden, Denmark, Turkey, Greece even Germany has won and hosted the Eurovision song contest. The UK had finished LAST in 2003 with Nil Poi (zero) points. And we haven’t had the best of luck since with a few exceptions. The same year (2003) Junior Eurovision song contest began. The unknown (tomorrow continued) Graham Norton took over from Wogan from 2009-present and beyond History may repeat itself once more There can only be one winner Who knows…. The Uk??? Good Luck
