Old Kingdom 2700BC-2200BC Theocracy Pyramids The leader was in charge of both religion and politics Pyramids Were built as monuments to their gods with the largest in Giza.

Middle Kingdom 2050BC-1700BC Thebes Hyskos Was changed to the new capitol of Egypt Hyskos Asian Invaders who were very sophisticated with bronze weapons and chariots.

New Kingdom 1600BC Pharaoh Valley of the Kings Ramses II Was the title for rulers meaning house of the king Valley of the Kings Site where many tombs were moved to prevent looting. Ramses II Considered the greatest pharaoh of all time. He ruled for 67 years and is said to have over 100 sons.
