9-27-18 Dear Families, Welcome to Open House at Duzine Elementary School! Tonight, you will be learning about the second grade program. If you can help with our Halloween party in any way there is a sign up sheet on the red table. Please confirm or correct contact information on the sheet at your child’s table by making changes and/or initialing the “To Do” section on the form. Finally, your child has left a note for you. Suggested Homework Activities Not Required Monthly calendar sent home at the beginning of each month as well as put on our webpage. Reading (your child reading and you reading to your child) Raz-Kids Please use these activities if you anticipate an extended absence for your child such as a family vacation.

Birthdays Birthdays- If you need to send invitations to school be sure you have sent one for each child in class. We sent home a class directory so you can mail invitations to specific children if you are not inviting every child. You do not have to invite every child. Birthday Celebrations- If you would like to send in a special treat to celebrate your child’s birthday please let us know in advance and be sure it is in school before snack. We will enjoy it during our regular snack time. It can be dropped off at the front desk anytime before snack (before 2:00pm).
