Changes in the Concept of Conservation Over Time Heritage Plants, animals, and communities Connections to economics Foundation in science Worldwide Corporate and government partnerships Preserving Natural Diversity Communities Our current conception of conservation is a result of all of these past developments. When we talk about conservation we’re talking about not just land, but also plants, animals, waters, climate, and communities. Economics and science are recognized as integral to any conservation attempt Conservation efforts are international. Nature has no national boundaries.
