Meanwhile in Britain, the Church of England was born, with Henry VIII as its head. WHY? As time progressed, disagreements occurred and new groups started to form, these were known as ‘non-conformists.

Model Answer Q4 One Christian teaching is that God was made present in the world through Jesus. In Luke 24:39 it says ‘Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have’. This shows that God can also be human in the form of Jesus and is supported by the Nicene Creed. A second Christian teaching about God is he is also in Spirit form. In John 4:24 it says ‘God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth’.
