How to Micropipette 1) Never adjust the volume below 5 uL or above 50uL 2) Never leave pipetter lying on bench with a tip attatched Basic Methods - Set the volume on the pipet to desired volume (5ul-50ul) - Place a pipet tip on the pipetter - Press down the plunger to the first stop - Put the tip of the pipette into the solution - Slowly release the plunger - Transfer solution to the desired tube - Slowly push the plunger to the first stop - Slowly push the plunger to the second stop - Always use a new tip
