Program has 3 Options for Preparing BBS Procedure for First Option is Shown Here

Select Create New BBDB file option To Start a New Database File

Press Create New Folder Button to Create a New Folder under BQ2009Projects

Change New Folder Name as Desired

New Folder Name is Changed to Project1

Press Save Button to Save the file and Close New BBS Database Dialog Box

Select Options Shown above for Deducting Bar Lengths as per BS 8666 with r factor

Enter Your Company Name & Project Name as desired Enter Your Company Name & Project Name as desired. Leave Singnatory Name Blank if Not required.

Enter Sheet No. , Sheet Title and Other Information as Desired Enter Sheet No., Sheet Title and Other Information as Desired. You can Leave it Blank if Not required.

Select Option for data Entry

Grid Control Dialog Box for entering Bar Data Grid Control Dialog Box for entering Bar Data. Use AddRow Button to Add Multiple Rows

A New row with Default Data will Appear

Enter Member Name, Bar Mark, No Enter Member Name, Bar Mark, No. of Bars Click on Shape Code to Open a Dialog Box

Click on Show Shapes Button to Display various Bar shapes available in program

Shape Code 00 means Straight Bar, 11 means one bend, 21 means two bends etc.

Enter Bar dimensions A, B, C, D etc Enter Bar dimensions A, B, C, D etc. Program calculates Cut Length of Bar

Data for a Footing with 2 types of Bars are shown above Data for a Footing with 2 types of Bars are shown above. Data for typical Column follows

Internal Dimensions are to entered only for Link Shapes Internal Dimensions are to entered only for Link Shapes. External Dimensions for others

Press OK after Data is entered for Sample One Footing & One Column

Program generates BBS Sheet with Sketches of each Bar in CAD compatible Drawing format

Right Click on the View and Use Zoom Window option to enlarge View Right Click on the View and Use Zoom Window option to enlarge View. Pan Option to shift.

Diameter wise Break-up of Steel in BBS Sheet

Use Settings menu to change Parameters, Project Title and Sheets Titles.

Select Bar Length Deduction Formula as Desired

Use SAVE option from FILE menu to save the BBS Sheet Data entered

Data is saved in a database file with BBDB extension. BBS Sheet saved in DXF file compatible with CAD package Text Report saved in TXT file compatible with Text Editor

From WINDOWS menu, Select BBS REPORT option to Display TEXT Report without Sketch

Right Click on the View and Select EDIT option to open TEXT Report in EDITPAD

Printout of TEXT Report with EDITPAD Text Editor is useful for Checking the Data Entered Manually.

Select PRINT PREVIEW option to position the View for direct printing through BarBeQue

Give PRINT command for printing

Use Select BBS Sheet option to Display List of Sheets in Current file.

Select NEW button to ADD a New Sheet

Data for Plinth Beams entered in 2nd Sheet.

Use TOTAL QUANTITY REPORT option from TOOLS menu to generate Summary

Select Number of Sheets to be included in Summary of Total Quantity

Total Quantity Report saved in DXF and TXT files.

Steel Quantity Summary with Diameter wise Break-up

Select EXIT to Quit the program.

This Completes Sample Program Run with Manual Data Entry This Completes Sample Program Run with Manual Data Entry. Preferred Option for BBS.
