Enrolling in Benefits You may also see a notification page which will remind you how many days you have left to complete your enrollment. You can choose to start your enrollment, be reminded later, or to not show the notification again.

Enrolling in Benefits (continued) During open enrollment, all benefits that are available to you will be displayed on the Enrollments page. Select a category, such as Medical, to compare information, such as benefit costs, for the available options. You can select another category, or click the Forward To arrow in the upper-right corner of the screen to move to another benefit category. Note: Your website content may vary.

Enrolling in Benefits (continued) Let’s take a look at an employee who is ready to enroll in benefits. To begin enrollment in the family life plan, click Start. Note: Your website content may vary.

Enrolling in Benefits (continued) On this page, you will review dependent and beneficiary details and start your enrollment. You can have the system walk you through your benefit options, or, if you know what you need to change, click I Know What I Want to Change. In the upper-right corner, you can click Finish Later to leave this page and return at your convenience. When you click I Know What I Want to Change, the benefit plans that are available for enrollment are displayed. Select the appropriate plan and click Continue. I Do Not Want To Make Any Changes will keep your current elections. Note: Your website content may vary.

Enrolling in Benefits (continued) If you selected a plan to change, the plan information is displayed. Click Enroll in This Plan. Note: Your website content may vary.

Enrolling in Benefits (continued) On the Enrollment page, you choose your coverage level. If you would like additional coverage, you can select it at this time. You will also choose the dependents for coverage under this plan. When finished, click Enroll. Note: Your website content may vary.

Enrolling in Benefits (continued) Your enrollment details are displayed. You can remove an enrollment if needed, or edit the plan if you need to make changes to your selections. When finished, click Review & Complete. Note: Your website content may vary.

Enrolling in Benefits (continued) Review your benefit elections. If you need to make a change, click Return to Choose Plans. After reviewing your elections, click Complete Enrollment. Note: Your website content may vary.

Enrolling in Benefits (continued) Your enrollment confirmation is displayed. A list of your benefits appears. The family life plan is displayed in the list. If a benefit election requires practitioner approval, you will see a pending approval indicator below the Your Changes Have Been Submitted message. Note: Your website content may vary.

Adding a Beneficiary Note to Clients: If you are not tracking beneficiaries, hide this slide. To add a person or organization (such as a trust or a charity) as a beneficiary, select Myself > Personal Information > Dependents & Beneficiaries. Then, click Add. In the new window that opens, click Add Beneficiary, and then Continue. You can add a person or an organization. Once you have added the beneficiary, you can change beneficiary assignments. Note: Your website contents may vary.

Editing Beneficiary Plan Assignments Note to Clients: If you are not tracking beneficiaries, hide this slide. You may be able to make changes to your enrollments based on the type of benefit and type of changes to be made. If so, you can access your plan and then easily change beneficiary assignments, including your selection of primary and contingent beneficiaries. To access your benefits enrollments, select Myself > Benefits > Enrollments. Then, click the plan name to view enrollment details and to edit beneficiary assignments. In this illustration, Miriam East was added as a beneficiary. The practitioner made the appropriate updates to include Miriam as a beneficiary. Note: Your website contents may vary.

Waiving Benefit Plan Coverage You can also waive benefit plan coverage if plans are turned on to track (not enrolling = waive). If you waive coverage, you must select a reason in the Reason list.
