Select REQUEST COURSES STEP 2 Click REQUEST COURSES FOR 2017-18 IN HAROLD L. RICHARDS HS
Selected & Available Courses Left side shows AVAILABLE ELECTIVES Right side shows REQUIRED COURSES FOR NEXT YEAR THAT HAVE BEEN PRE-ENTERED BY COUNSELING
Selecting Your Electives STEP 1 - Scroll through your elective options. Click to select the course you are interesting in taking. STEP 2 - Click ADD COURSE to add the request to your selection If you know the course name or number, you can enter it in the search box, click search to find the course
Added Electives Once you add your course, it will show on the RIGHT side along with your pre-populated courses.
Selecting ALTERNATE REQUESTS Once your have selected your electives, click the REQUEST ALTERNATES option. In case your 1st elective choice is not available, counselors will attempt to schedule you in your ALTERNATIVE option.
Select 2 Alternate Elective Courses STEP 2 - Select an Alternative and click ADD COURSE STEP 1 - Scroll through the list of electives and select alternate electives. Using the same steps you used when selecting your 1st choice of electives.
Alternative Elective Screen Original elective request will show with an R. Alternative electives will show with a number 1 or 2
Removing an Elective STEP 1 – From the REQUEST COURSE option STEP 3 - Click the REMOVE COURSE button STEP 2 - If you change you mind and want to remove an elective you have selected. Click the elective you want to remove from your selection.
Removing Alternatives STEP 1 - Make sure you are in the REQUEST ALTERNATIVE option STEP 3 - Click the REMOVE COURSE button STEP 2 - To Remove an Alternative Choice, Click the course you want to remove
