Specialty Certification of Active RNs in Michigan Roxanne M. Rickert Quick Background about Data The purpose of this assignment is to increase the knowledge about the specialty roles that RNs can receive and to communicate the data effectively. The data was retrieved from the Michigan Center for Nursing through a survey. Level of Measure The level of measure for this data is nominal. Nominal is defined as having no order and thus only gives names or labels to various categories, such as the three Specialty Certifications that RNs can attain.
