Outcome assessment in cellulitis clinical trials: is telephone follow up sufficient?  V.E. Nambudiri, R.C. Dwyer, C.A. Camargo, T.S. Kupper, D.J. Pallin  Clinical Microbiology and Infection  Volume 21, Issue 7, Pages 676.e5-676.e7 (July 2015) DOI: 10.1016/j.cmi.2015.03.008 Copyright © 2015 European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases Terms and Conditions

Fig. 1 Self-report by telephone as a proxy for in-person determination of cure in a cellulitis drug trial. There were 146 patients in the original intent-to-treat analysis. Included in the present analysis are the 99 (68%) who had not already failed therapy, and who participated in both telephone and in-person follow up.
