Pedagogical Methods Traditional learning E-learning Online learning Flipped Classroom learning Blended learning

Traditional Learning Mostly focuses on the classroom education The teacher usually talks more than the student Student attendance is mandatory

Traditionally Learning Model Disadvantages No motivations and lack of interest in the material. Not remembering everything from class material. No equal chance to take part in class discussion and communicate with their teachers in front of classmates.

Flipped classroom learning

E-Learning The physical presence of teacher was a no-brainer, and any other type of learning was questionable at best. Then the computer evolution happened and it radically changed the learning landscape. Some of the most important developments in education have happened since the launch of the internet. Technology has advanced so much that the geographical gap is bridged with the use of tools that make you feel as if you are inside the classroom.

eLearning Computer based educational tool or system that enables you to learn anywhere and at any time. Today e-learning is mostly delivered though the internet, although in the past it was delivered using a blend of computer-based methods like CD-ROM.

Types of LMS

Online (distance) learning

Benefits Ability to share material in all kinds of formats such as videos, slideshows, word documents and PDF Conducting webinars (live online classes) and communicating with professors via chat and message forums Various processes can be automated such as the marking

Benefits Creation of engaging content in a more interactive way. Course content can be updated quickly to give students the very latest information. Offers an alternative that is faster, cheaper and potentially better. It can also be used to develop staff skills and conducting video conferences.

Concerns Practical skills are somewhat harder to pick up from online resources. Learners may feel a sense of isolation (solo act). Health Related Concerns: eye strain, bad posture and other physical problems. (set guidelines) Can we learn online?
