Attendance Expectations Make sure you know your attendance figure – our school expectation is at least 95% Only take days off when you are genuinely too ill to come to school. Don’t take holidays in term time. Avoid doctors, dentists and opticians appointments in the school day. There are 175 days a year when you are not at school for appointments and holidays. It is the law!

What happens when you don’t attend school? Text message is sent out in the morning Phone calls are made Home visits may be carried out Tutor involvement Head of House involvement

What happens if you drop below 95% Warning letters Meet with parents/HOH Home visits by Educational Welfare Officer
