Step Forward Michigan Helping homeowners catch up with delinquent house payments, property taxes, and condo fees

Only $21 Million Remaining! What is Step Forward Michigan? It’s a federally funded homeownership retention loan program with Only $21 Million Remaining! Roughly, we have about a 1 ½ years left of our program so its time to spend, spend, SPEND.

Livingston County Assistance Already Received $3,552,202.53 for 394 Households Of that amount, $308,284.83 paid delinquent property taxes. As of 5/2018

Assistance Per Household One time assistance, up to $30,000 Delinquent Mortgage Debt Past Due Property Taxes Outstanding Condo Fees

Mortgage Loan Terms 0% Interest No Monthly Payments Five Year Forgivable Loan forgiven 20% annually as long as homeowner retains occupancy

Eligible Homeowners Legal owner of record Primary residence Hardship that caused the delinquency Income to sustain future payments Less than $10,000 in liquid assets

To give an rough estimate, I would say it has a 10% success rate depending on the County list. Marketing Materials: We can provide you with Hard Copies of our Rack Cards to place in your offices, pass out to Homeowners, etc. (mention the folders have samples of the product we can provide).
