North Hills High School Choral Program

Classes & Ensembles Symphonic Choir (periods 4 & 8) grades 9-12 men and 11-12 women approximately 80 members Women’s Choir (periods 5 & 9) mostly grades 9-10, a few juniors and seniors approximately 45 members North Hills Singers (Mon-Tue 2:15-3:15) auditioned 28-member after school ensemble of singers from Symphonic Choir, extensive community performances Madrigal Choir (Nov/Dec) meets after school for one week; performs for Madrigal Dinner, open to all singers in grades 9-12 Arrow Men’s Ensemble (Wed 2:15-3:15) student-run, open to all 9-12 men interested in singing barbershop and music for men’s voices

Choral Parents Association The Choral Parents Association invites you to be a part of the organization for 2018-19. Membership is open to any parent/guardian/family member of a student in the choral program at North Hills. First Meeting will be Wednesday, September 12 at 7:00PM in this room! Fundraisers Madrigal Dinner & Cabaret Night Pepperoni Rolls, Cinnamon Swirl Bread, Pies, Hoagies, Candy Bars, Restaurant Nights (Panera, Chipotle) We’re not only raising funds for the tour, but also to replace madrigal costumes that are in poor condition from many years of use. Some were purchased in the early 70s and are literally falling apart.
