Organisms A organism is a living thing Plants and animals are organisms All organisms have cells.

Plant Cells Cells are building blocks of life. Every cell has a nucleus.

Parts of a Plant Each part of a plant has their own job The parts of a plant have roots,stem,and leaves.

Roots The roots take in water and minerals from the soil. They deliver the water and minerals to the stem.

Stem The stem carries water and minerals from the roots The stem also helps the plant stand upright. It also carries leaves

Leaves The leaves are the main food making part of the plant. It also takes in sunlight. It also traps in energy.

Life Cycle of a Plant A life cycle of a plant is how a plant lives First a life cycle of a pumpkin is a seed. Second it is a sprout. Third it is a vine.Fourth it's a flower. Fifth it's a green pumpkin. And last its a Orange pumpkin witch is a adult pumpkin.

Conifers Conifers produce seeds in cones. Pine cones come from conifers.

Flowering Plants Flowering plants produce seeds in flowers. Most plants in the world are flowering plants.

Why we Need Plants to Survive We need plants to survive because they give us carbon dioxide. We need them to eat and take in oxygen.
