Presentation transcript:

Monday, October 10, 2011 Bellringer Please copy the “I can” statement from the board. Fill out your agenda. Remember CHAMPs expectations! Thank you! CHAMPs C: 0 (when the bell rings) H: quietly ask a neighbor; after bell, raise hand A: independent work M: 0 (after bell rings) P: silently completing bellringer

Policies and Procedures Quiz C: 0 H: raise hand A: independent work M: 0 P: doing your best! 

Finishing Paperwork Expectations C: 1.5 (and confined to your group) H: ask group members A: cooperative small group work M: at your leisure (but you must be seated) P: filling in handout/CER for each station

CER—In notebook Claim: When yellow and blue are mixed together, they make the color green. Evidence: 10mL of yellow food coloring was measured and mixed with 10mL of blue food coloring, which resulted in 20mL of green food coloring. Three identical tests were done and they all resulted in green. Reasoning: Observations were used to see that when yellow and blue were mixed together they made green. That fact that the experiment was done 3 times means that it is reproducible and accurate. Two different colors when mixed together do make a new color.

Ender Tell me one thing you learned (as it relates to today’s learning target) from the lesson.
