Working with Employers

Reed in Partnership Since 1998, has delivered employability and training contracts for DWP, ESFA and individual Local Authorities (including ESF funded contracts): Has placed over 140,000 participants into work and has worked with over 25,000 employers. As a public service provider our mission is to deliver services that positively transform people and their communities.

Overview Government’s new flagship employment programme, focused mainly on those Participants with health conditions or disabilities. All referrals will be made through Jobcentre Plus. Participants can access WHP support for up to 15 months, with an additional 6 months of support once Participants are in work.

Participant groups for referral People with a disability/health condition 75% Voluntary

Participant Support. A dedicated Case Worker. A dedicated Self Employed Advisor if required. In-house Health Professional. In-house Trainer. Access to internal and external Health and Wellbeing Provisions. Access to internal and external training courses. Access to short periods of work experience. Support with Access to Work and Reasonable Adjustments. Travel training and support. Indivdualised In-Work Support from our E.S.O. (Employment Support Officer) working with Participants and Employers.

What we offer Employers A free professional recruitment service able to source the people with the skills you need. Access to a pool of participants local to your business. Support from our Recruitment Manager and Employment Support Officer to facilitate your recruitment needs. This will reduce your administration and costs. What we can offer Employers Our Employment Support Officer is able to provide ongoing support to both the participant and employer through induction training and any other concerns that may arise in the first 6 months. Disability awareness presentations to your staff if required. Support to gain Access to Work grants for Employees and equipment. Support in making reasonable adjustments which can improve the working environment for all your employees. Support to carve job roles where it would add value or improve the working environment and productivity. Ongoing in-work support with timely interventions to meet your business needs and shift patterns. Build a mutually beneficial on-going relationship
