Where our DNA comes from ?

Lucien Lee Kinsolving James Watson Morris Morris and Kinsolving : They were evangelical Anglicans and were able to deploy with much struggle and expand the church in the south of the country very quickly using cults in the church, and in the houses.

Obispo Sherril: Un evangélico, carismático y Visionario.

The bishop and the lay leadership had very bold objectives: To implant churches in all the capitals of the States Located in the diocesan territory and strengthening the existing ones; Increase of ten Thousand the number of members in the diocese in ten years; To Ordein 50 ministers and Train Lay persons for leadership and responsibility positions; Register In Courses and studies 300 members of existing congregations; Intensify social assistance work and reach the population of the capital By the preaching in the temples and social media” Oswaldo Kickhofel

Our way of being (Anglican Ethos) was different of everyone, both in the form of worship, and in the exercise of the mission We have a beautiful liturgy, but centered on Christ and the Word of God Our preaching is biblical but contextualized We are welcoming and loving (inclusive) Are Reformed And we're always reforming Always attentive to the Holy Spirit and the world to develop new strategies We are an innovative church in the way of doing the mission.

Some of these principles that we inherited from the reform period Anglican Even in the 17th century. The BCP (Book Common Prayer) is for us The greatest strategic model of the missionary and Protestant tool I've seen in my life. Has brought the Bible in the language that people understand (teaches) Includes people in the Liturgy (service, Worship and communion) Has brought Biblical Teaching with Reformed theology (there was no bible school or discipleship) Allowed the cult in the houses (complets, Morning and evening prayer ) The Robes Were reduced to Surplice and black Tipet . 3. The teaching of scripture was encouraged by clergymen and lay

How was Anglican growth in northeastern Brazil ECC. (Encounter of Couples with Christ) EMA (Marriage Encounter) EJC. (Meeting of young People with Christ) EC (people not young and not married) Courses (cristian Training For men and women) SEVES(Knowledge about the person and work of the Holy Spirit)

Three reasons to Don't stay with Us (in their words) They Loved us, But our liturgies and robes were very Catholic They loved us, but when were looking for Know To the church in the Internet, were confronted with Henry VIII and the scandals caused by liberalism The movements nedded some changes

"Once the culture around us has changed dramatically in our lives, since the Christian majority Even the majority of non- religious, we cannot continue to do the church the way we always We did and we waited for the results we used to have. The whole congregation Anglican In the North America (ACNA) must adapt to this change in culture and adopting a more missionary approach to everything we do Yes We want to prosper in the next few years. To be clear, that doesn't mean Abandon being Anglican.

It is possible to be Anglican and missionary It is possible to be Anglican and missionary! But here's the thing: if your Anglican congregation doesn't Adapt to a missionary mode that isr Church (Which is the way the church should Be),Eventually Members Enough goes To change or die And The Church will have To close the doors. is already happening Along North America between the denominations. This does not have to be The History Of your churches, though. Revitalization is possible, Because All The Things are possible with God! Reverend Canon Mark Eldredge He is the director of the revitalization of the Church and coaching in the Anglican American Council.

In other words : There can be no renewal without changes

Is not about renew to please , but renew to continue lead people to Jesus. This is our Goal

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8 15 He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Mark 16:15 REVIEWING OUR MISSION

REVIEWING OUR MISSION “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Mathew 28:19-20

Do you think these three passages could define our mission?
