They can record the jobs that they are interested in etc in Career Tools and record their work experience

If an employer asks, “What skills do you have?”, what would you say? Get your answers ready with the Skills Bank. Skills Map: They do quiz, see results, add their own examples and when they apply for work experience or a job/course they can use their examples from the Skills Bank

Do you know what job you might like to do? Show how to use job sectors – students can look at jobs in different sectors or look at jobs that are linked to school subjects or take the job sector quiz if they are unsure what they want to do.

Shows the animal job sector and the 3 different sub sector within this sector – animal, agriculture and environmental jobs

This shows the animal sector and the different jobs within that sector where students can find out more detail about individual jobs

This shows what they can find out about the job and how if students complete the pre 16 skills map they can compare their skills with those required by the job. Also – shows them if certain qualifications or subjects are required to do that job

Career Tools linked to Reporting Zone A reminder that each of their choices and results are saved within their Career Tools (as long as they register on the site)

Registered before? Then SIGN IN. Remember PASSWORD! The first thing the students should do is register or sign if they have used before, then they can save all your choices as they use the site and see them in a report. Note to person delivering this session: It is really important that students get back to their previous record if they have already registered before. If they can’t remember what email they used you can check it in the Reporting Zone by searching for them in Users. Is they can remember the email they used then they can do ‘Forgotten Password’. ALL STUDENTS SHOULD BE REMINDER TO REMEMBER THEIR PASSWORD AS THEY WILL BE COMING BACK TO CAREERPILOT
