Event Resources The Student Centers Administration (S.C.A.) offers facilities management of the E. Clayton Gengras Family Student Union, Simon Konover Campus Center & University Commons.  We also provide on-campus special event service support such as audio-visual services, event security, ticketing services, etc.

Student Centers Clientele & Pricing Chartered and Recognized U of Hartford Student Groups: May reserve / use Student Centers space and resources during normal operating hours of the Gengras Student Union at no charge, except for private reservations of the GSU Game Room and certain non-routine use of equipment, specialty items and space (Ex. Non-operational hour use or rental for use by a student group for a external group). University Departments: Will typically not be charged during normal operating hours of the Gengras Student Union. Exceptions may include required staffing of other Student Centers spaces, use of any Student Centers equipment, resource operation, private reservations of the GSU Game Room and department activities / events that are sponsored by the department on behalf of an external organization University Affiliated Individuals and Non-University Individuals / Groups: Will be charged a fee for the use of Student Centers space and resources. Exceptions may be granted by the Director of Student Centers No show and cancellation fees shall apply to all groups as per Student Centers Policy The Student Centers uses your space request, operations plans other documentation to generate charges from your special events. This information is turned over to the Business office at the end of each semester and related expenses are debited out of your budget. To avoid having space use that you cancelled show up as part of your billing for that semester, be sure to use the Student Centers cancellation form within the requested time frame to avoid billing

Student Centers Administration Event Resources Student Centers Administration not only has tables & chairs, we can also provide basic to complex A/V equipment and support services. Renting Event Resources From External Vendors Remember to coordinate rental item, delivery, pick-up and storage with Student Centers Administration before you confirm delivery and pick times. Indicate the company that you are working with on your Operations Plan, including their contact information Items stored in the Student Centers without prior agreement or are not picked up at the agreed upon date / time may be subject to a storage fee as per the current Student Centers rate card Examples of special event resources not provided by the Student Centers include: Plants / Greenery Props and Décor Seasonal Items Large Scale Staging Large Tents Lighting Port-A-Potties / Trailers
