Highlight of Current Activities The standard EN 50499 produced under The Physical Agents Directive (Part 18) has passed its vote and is the first standard (to my knowledge) of the EMF series which is aimed at the Employer rather than a equipment manufacturer or installer. It leads the reader through an assessment process for their premises' in order that any EMF risks can be assessed A Draft Copy can be found at: http://portal.etsi.org/docbox/Workshop/GSC/GRSC_EMF_safety/ETSI%20Documents/Draft_EN50499.doc Due to changes in European Legislation ground based aeronautical equipment including radar is now required to have an EMF assessment. A Radar Measurement Group has been formed and its second meeting will be held at the end of July
