What is Photosynthesis?
Sunlight and Plants.  Plants use sunlight in combination with H2O and C02 and turn it into a source of food  Within this cell organelle is the chlorophyll.
The Need for Energy  Energy is essential to life.  The molecule that stores energy is ATP or adenosine triphosphate.

Photosynthesis The process by which plants and other autotrophs produce their own food. Plants take in carbon dioxide through holes on their leaves called stomata. Collect sunlight through chlorophyte in their leaves as well. Collect water from through their roots.

Processes

Light-Dependent and Light-independent - happens during the day - plants collect sun light - called synthetic process because it produces the materials such as ATP and NADPH required for the light-independent reaction Light independent - also called the Calvin cycle - happens at day or night - plants make glucose during this phase - ATP and NADPH are used to make glucose and water
