Before you can articulate who you are to an employer, you have to know who you are!

Before You Begin Writing Be familiar with the job description and what they are looking for in a candidate Brainstorm past experiences that prove you have the skills they need Tailoring your resume makes a BIG difference and helps set you apart from other candidates.

Tailor it to the type of position you are seeking Objective Statement PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY Seeking a <type of position> in <type of organization/field> where I may utilize my proven <insert three of your skills/strengths that align with the position>. Optional Section Tailor it to the type of position you are seeking State what you can bring to the position, not what you can gain.

The How, Why, and Result How: How did you do it? What skills did you use? Why: Why did you do it? What value did it add? Result: How did your work have an impact? Action Verb Quantified Why?
