1940 9th April 10th May 13th May 15th & 16th June 22nd June Germany occupies Denmark and Norway 10th May Germany invades Belgium, Luxemburg and The Netherlands 13th May Germany invades France 15th & 16th June Soviet Union invades the Baltic states 22nd June France surrenders to the Germans. 13th September Italy invades Egypt through Libya 28th October Italy invade Greece
