Online/Live Demo Amplify.

Participating in the Program Amplify has created a web landing page specifically for the New Mexico Formative Assessment System. The page is located at: www.amplify.com/new-mexico On this page, LEAs can find information about mCLASS:DIBELS Next, IDEL, BURST vocabulary, Now What Tools, device requirements, and contact information. Additionally, Benchmark windows for BOY, MOY, and EOY are listed, as well as PED Progress Monitoring Guidelines and K-3+ information. All PED questions should be sent directly to Melinda Webster, Literacy Director, PED: Melinda.Webster@state.nm.us Amplify.

Amplify.

K-3+ Sites All K-3 Plus students MUST have the K3 (state ID) identifier in the correct column on the mCLASS student roster prior to the last day of summer school. All Kindergarten students who were assigned a temporary ID MUST have that number changed to the official one as soon as it is available (usually the 40 day count). Please refer to the Amplify newsletters and NM landing page for additional information regarding K-3+ throughout the school year. Amplify.

Implementation For new LEAs participating in the program, your district/site will be contacted by our Implementation Team. This team will schedule a time to speak with you regarding the following: Technical set-up of devices Importing staff and student rosters into the Amplify system Scheduling mCLASS:DIBELS Next/IDEL initial training Amplify.

Training mCLASS:DIBELS Next and IDEL initial trainings will be provided to LEAs by Amplify: Training will be scheduled during the Implementation meeting/call. Trainings will follow a Training of Trainers (TOT) model. Each school may send two representatives to the training; these staff members would then train the remaining staff at the schools. The training is a full day session (6 hours of instruction time). A variety of trainings will be offered this year to all participating LEAs, including Data Analysis Trainings, Leadership Trainings for site administrators, Parent/Community Engagement Trainings/Workshops and Professional Learning Maps trainings. PED has also supported the training of master trainers across New Mexico, and Amplify will be working side by side with these district and state trainers. Amplify.

Teacher Kits The PED provides teacher kits for DIBELS Next, IDEL, and the BURST Vocabulary measure to each assessor/teacher. Cynthia Jones from the NM Amplify team coordinates all kit orders. If you are a returning site, no new teacher kits are needed; however, new sites coming on board this school year will be contacted regarding kit needs. Please note that the IDEL teacher kits (Spanish) are K-3 kits, whereas the DIBELS Next kits are grade level specific. Amplify.
