TOOLS OF THE GEOGRAPHER USING THE ATLAS

INFORMATION IN THE ATLAS The atlas contains many different types of information in many different forms: Maps (physical, political, thematic) Tables (statistics for many topics) Graphs (climate graphs, population pyramids, languages, etc.)

Find the following in your atlas: Point to the correct map: Happy Valley – Goose Bay (hint – it is in Canada) Pg 69 G4 Cedar Lake (hint – also in Canada) Pg 60 D2 Pg 66 F6 Jakarta (hint – not in Canada) Pg 154 D2
