IMAGES, IMAGES and IMAGES for Unbuilt Design Award Approximately 100 submittals x 10 to 20 slides each = 1000 to 2000 images the jury will view in the preview 2/3 of the projects submitted are eliminated after the first or second pass. On average 10% of the projects submitted receive awards PowerPoint slide descriptions should be documented on each slide, so the jury understands your message on each slide. Context – the context and how the project addressed the built or natural environment. Document the context in plan and images PowerPoint presentation format. Keep it simple, let the images tell the story. Refer to professional magazines or books for presentation techniques, format ideas etc. Do not use any slide transitions. View your final submittal through a projector as the jury will see it. After you burn the CD please make sure it opens and that it contains all of the information requested. Please label the CD with the AIA submittal number and the project name Be sure that the submittal is not larger than 15MB. Be sure that your font size a minimimum 10 pt type and is readable from across the room. GOOD LUCK!
