Serious Acquisitive Crime One-Year Milestone Target: 2% Reduction Weekly Crime Levels 01/04/08 - 11/01/09 Three-year Target: To be one of the 10 Forces nationally with the lowest levels of serious acquisitive crime (Currently 5th) One-year Milestone Target: To achieve a reduction of at least 2% in serious acquisitive crime Weekly Number of Crimes YTD Weekly Average = 281 Average Weekly Required for rest of the year = 377 Cornwall & IOS BCU: +1.1% Plymouth BCU: -10.0% Devon BCU: -10.2% FORCE: -7.7%

Cornwall & IOS BCU: +13.5% Plymouth BCU: +72.8% Devon BCU: +13.1% Serious Violent Crime One-Year Milestone Target: 6% Reduction Weekly Crime Levels 01/04/08 - 11/01/09 Three-year Target: To be one of the 10 Forces nationally with the lowest levels of serious violent crime (Currently 20th) One-year Milestone Target: To achieve a reduction of at least 2% in serious violent crime Increase can be mainly attributed to an increase in Serious Assault - particularly Wound or Cause GBH without Intent S.18 which has increased by 120 crimes (55.0%). Total Crime Sanction Detections 01/04/08 - 11/01/09 by Disposal Type This chart shows the LPAs according to their sanction detection rate for Total Crime and shows the breakdown of disposal types for those sanction detections in April 2008 - 11 January 2009. There has been an increase in the usage of TICs over the last few weeks.

Number of Sanction Detections Cornwall & IOS BCU: 29.0% Plymouth BCU: 24.0% Devon BCU: 30.2% FORCE: 28.5% Rape of Female (over 16): 9.5% Sexual Assault on a Female: 28.3% Sexual Assault on a Male: 30.0% Sexual Assault on a Child (under 13): 37.1%

User Satisfaction: Overall Satisfaction (Burglary, RTCs,Vehicle and Violent Crime) 12 Months to December 2008 Three-year Target: To be one of the 10 Forces nationally with the highest percentage of victims who are satisfied with the overall service provided by the police (Currently 13th) One-year Milestone Target: To exceed 86% of victims who are satisfied with the overall service provided by the police Cornwall & IOS BCU: 82.4% Plymouth BCU: 83.7% Devon BCU: 82.0% FORCE: 82.7%

(Burglary, RTCs, Vehicle and Violent Crime) User Satisfaction (Burglary, RTCs, Vehicle and Violent Crime) 12 Months to December 2008 This slide displays the satisfaction rates at BCU and LPA level for the main drivers of satisfaction as well as Whole Experience (All are calculated by taking the average of the Satisfaction levels for victims of Burglary, RTC, Vehicle and Violent Crime). Those cells highlighted in red indicate those areas where the satisfaction rates are lower than the tolerance level. Green cells indicate where satisfaction rates are higher than the attainment level. Note that Plymouth LPAs do not include RTCs - however, the BCU figure does. Figures relate to the Average of the Satisfaction Levels for Burglary Victims, Victims of Vehicle Crime and of Violent Crime and those reporting RTCs - Interviews conducted during the 12 months to December 2008.

User Satisfaction - Whole Experience (Racist Incidents) 12 Months to December 2008 Three-year Target: To be one of the 10 Forces nationally with the highest percentage of victims of racist incidents satisfied with the overall service provided by the police (Currently 9th) One-year Milestone Target: To exceed 86% of victims of racist incidents who are satisfied with the overall service provided by the police Cornwall & IOS: 89.5% Plymouth: 81.7% Devon: 75.8% FORCE: 80.3%
