Pairing Wine with Food SPRING 2018

Light Bodied Red Wine PINOT NOIR

Pinot Noir grape clusters are usually small and difficult to ripen evenly. Flavor can range depending on where it comes from. Examples from Burgundy and Oregon tend to be lighter-bodied, with flavors of cherry, mushroom, and earth. Pinot Noir from California will generally be medium-bodied with riper red fruit flavors. Pinot Noir

Wine is translucent/pale in color and lean toward a moderately high acidity. Fruit Flavors include Cranberry, Cherry, Raspberry Other flavors and aromas can include vanilla, clove, licorice, mushroom, wet leaves, tobacco, cola, caramel Pinot Noir
